[expletive] up yet another runner at 3rd, 0 out spot. Wonderful.

How are we THIS bad with runners on third and less than 2 outs? Jesus Christ.

One of the outs was with the pitcher batting, but, yes, one of our hitters struck out. God forbid.

the cubs have a line of .244/.341/.411/.753 with runners on third and less than two outs.

rondon fan and ski certainly have a higher failure rate with their posts than the cubs do with runners on third and less than two outs.

you (and others here) definitely think more of Richard/Cahill than I do. I'd rather see if Hammel can actually pitch like he did for half a season rather than blindly hope either of them can somehow luck their way into a decent start. agree to disagree, i guess.

I don't think it's hoping for luck when they've both been very good in their time here (yeah, Cahill has like 10 innings, but still).

well I suppose that's a bit karmic for banking the ball off 2nd to score Hammel

Hahaha. Isn't that about identical to their overall batting line?

We probably get screwed on just as many defensive gems as any other club, but it sure doesn't feel like it.

lol WTF. that was a coghlan route

schwarber has absolutely scalded two balls tonight. keep it up, kyle. they'll fall soon. or be uncatchable (because of a HR, not a foul ball)

and richard has been much, MUCH, better as a reliever than his 3 GS

again, i just disagree. and i'm hoping Hammel doesn't fall on his face now and make me look bad. I have a feeling he turns this into a QS
