Rizzo needs to have a session where he teaches everyone how to shorten up their swings with two strikes. Focus on making contact when contact is important.

 

Yeah it's really annoying that he's hoarding all that knowledge for himself

It was executed poorly but I guess not a terrible decision. For one, I don't think the Pirates were expecting a safety squeeze. Second, if it doesn't work you still have a RISP with 2 outs, just 1st and 2nd instead of 2nd and 3rd
