It's a one game playoff. The impact of home field advantage is tiny, and no, I don't really care about their home record. We're the second best road team in baseball.

Sometimes [expletive] just happens. No one has to happy about it, but that's the way it is.

...I say, as we make yet another lineout. It's not like the BABIP on line drives is .825 or anything.

The Giants sure didn't seem cut up about having to go to Pittsburgh last October.

IF the wild card game is played at PNC, and if you were Joe Maddon, would you at all consider starting Jackson over one of Coghlan/Schwarber?

Yeah our ideal outfield against Cole (Schwarber/Fowler/Coghlan) definitely has limited defensive ability. Arrieta has the 4th lowest FB rate in the majors (qualified) though, so it's not too much of a concern for me.

Really hope the bullpen can actually be a shutdown force in the playoffs.

Dumb, dumb comment. Richard kept the Cubs in this game and Edwards is a freakin rookie.

The pen had nothing to do with today's loss and little to do with yesterday's outside of a fluke Rondon meatball.

He's saying it as a thread, not a warning.

In all seriousness, how many games would you suppose are won or lost as a result of one unfortunate pitch or lucky swing.
