Getting ready for my draft tonight. Standard league, thinking about taking one of Luck or Rodgers in the first. Is this a mistake?

 

QB seems REALLY shallow after the top 2. Other strategy would be pairing Bradford with Tannehill or Stafford.

I guess I would ask if you know your draft position yet. The only time I did a standard scoring/1 QB league I was drafting 9th I think. The first 8 picks were RB's and I didn't like the idea of getting the 9th best RB. So I drafted a QB and he was amazing for me that year. It also seems like RB's vary from year to year. Like if you look back to the rankings at the beginning of the year, many times they don't match all too well with what happened. I like knowing what I am getting with top picks. But if you are near the top, I could see going with a stud RB.

 

The league with my best friends has always been a start 2QB league and passing TD's are worth 6. QB's are really important and are most of the top picks. So I may be biased in that regard, but I am big on winning positions. So I would rather have the best of something than settling for the 9th best of something.

That's my thinking as well. I'm picking 8th so I could probably get a WR like Julio or DT. I've narrowed it down to a QB or Gronk tho baring someone falling

I'm a fantasy football dummy, but that seems like a decent team to me. Deep in WR, probably a bit light on RB.

 

I had my 10 team keeper auction yesterday. I couldn't stay for the whole thing, so to make sure I got a full lineup I spent big on starters and zero on bench beyond 1 RB.

Your RB are likely going to kill you, but the rest is really solid.

Big fan of your lineup, TT. I'm all in on Hopkins and Cooks for this season, I think they're both going to be outstanding. Walker is a nice high-floor guy at TE as well, and Forte is underrated.

I would think about starting J.Brown or Johnson over Wallace this week. Nice team, I think your rbs are solid =D>

Yeah, not PPR and I'm not thrilled with that. In general I always seem to end up a little weaker at RB because I feel like WRs are undervalued and RBs overvalued.
