Vin Scully suuuuuuuuuuucks

was going to say this earlier ,but figured i'd just catch [expletive]. i can't stand him

You are among friends, Scully is bad. I was forced into listening to him on the radio earlier and it wasn't as bad as TV, but he still started to tell a story of someone from 60 years ago who wouldn't throw to first like Lester. Brutal.

You guys have no appreciation for the simple things.

They obviously got the call right but why is that a balk? I feel like that's the one common baseball thing that I have no idea what is or isn't.

He sounds like Pat if Pat recently had a stroke. And while Pat is still good, he's definitely lost a bit the last few years.

You have to throw to first if you start a pickoff to first from the rubber. If you don't want to throw, you need to clearly step off first. Latos turned to throw to first, saw no one was there, and tried to basically finish a hop move(that would've been a balk still) to try and muddy the waters.

1 run game, 6th inning, heart of opposing order up, time for the wave

Rizzo is damn near roided up Bonds quick on that inside pitch. I have no idea how he ever makes contact with the pitches that look like they'd hit him if he didn't swing.

They're right. And I've had to listen to a lot of Vin living in LA. He's overrated.
