This sucks. Because the Cardinals are more focused on the Pirates and vice versa and the Giants more focused on the Dodgers, there are no salty reactions about the Cubs winning on any of their forums.

National media are still treating the Cubs as "playing with house money" so they don't think they are real contenders. I listen to a lot of MLB on XM during the day and they barely talk about the Cubs. When they do all they talk about is overachieving. They spend [expletive] ton of time on the Mets every day. It seems like every 3rd caller is a Mets fan. I guess they all are unemployed or something.

 

Anyway, I love that the Cubs are getting the job done against these lessor teams. I think the Philly sweep may have actually helped them.
