Managers are overrated but Maddon has done some things I really liked lately, like putting Hammel on a short leash.

The only thing he's done that really annoyed me was put Motte and Soriano in high-leverage spots. Now that he's past that and is using Grimm, Strop and Rondon as the firemen I give him a big thumbs-up.

I'm annoyed and miffed by a lot of his in-game decisions, but no more than anyone else's. But he clearly is a huge difference in the lockerroom, which is why I wanted him in the first place.
