Seriously though, what the [expletive] am I supposed to do tomorrow with no Cubs baseball. This is an outrage.

2001 and 2004 make me sad.

 

But then I remember #wearegood and I am happy!

 

But then I remember the Cardinals and Pirates exist and I am sad.

 

But then I remember that I've had more fun with this team than the last six teams combined and I am happy.

 

And then I remember these guys are all still babies and I am ecstatic!

I just realized it's August 10th and the Cubs have only lost a single game since acquiring Dan Haren in July. And Dan started that game, of course...

its ok he's some sort of Good At Baseball Totem, wherein he emanates good baseball but he himself cannot be Good at Baseball

I really wish they would have upgraded this spot in the rotation with more than Dan Haren with the run were on...Hope he can control those 86 MPH fastballs and hopefully not get shelled. 13 games in a row against sub .500 teams...Gotta keep this going!
