So us not getting a run in from 3rd with 0 out against Nelson while Milwaukee gets one in from 2nd (and counting) against Arrieta might end up the difference in the game.

Not sure it will end up being that close. Brewers are a bad matchup for this team.

If Ross is so great why does it seem like teams run on him with reckless abandon?

Because he catches the two pitchers who are among the worst in baseball at holding runners.

mlb.tv is not experiencing any of the technical difficulties that Len and JD are talking about.

CSN switched to showing the Milwaukee feed. Although it seems they're back now.

This offense is hot garbage. Hopefully Upton is coming.

Upton and an even somewhat fixed Baez would really get my gears going. Mmmmmm, yeaaaaah.

Bitching about the lack of hitting is pointless to me now. I've come to accept the fact that this team will not hit. Unless they get another Lester like performance from yesterday, they're probably not going to win.

Except everyone is underperforming and it's feasible the gears could snap back into the place at any time.

I thought this was interesting... I've seen a lot of people complain that the Cubs aren't taking advantage of bad starters, and we've seen some bad ones over the last 11 games (including tonight through the 4th inning).

Combining their stats, the average opponent starter over the last 11 games has a 4.40 ERA. The starters ERA against the Cubs over the last 11 games is.... 4.23. So slightly below average. Obviously you expect better from a team with as much offensive potential as the Cubs, but I think people think we have been anemic against these garbage starters, and in reality we are hitting them about how they've been hit by everyone else.
