I've heard it even when it doesn't make sense as a possessive.

"We're going to Best Buys!"

like wtf

my mom still says that even though I've worked for that company for 4 years.

My sister in law says "Subways", "Meijers", and a few others. It's maddening

Meijer is understandable to me. Subway and Best Buy examples are weird.

I still slip up on Pot Belly though. I heard it called Pot Bellies too many times and it's stuck in my head now.

No mention of how we're stuck with SAM ROSEN for the rest of the preseason?

Haven't we been stuck with him for at least 3 preseasons now? It's not worth mentioning because it's routine.

To be fair, Sam Rosen does suck donkey balls

What are the odds the Bears can get a decent return on Willie Young? He's not 100% coming off surgery, but he was very good last season and should have a lot of value to a 4-3 team. He doesn't seem to fit into the defense and seems like he would have more value to another team. 4th round pick seem realistic?

One of the TV announcers last year, can't remember which one, called him Ashlawn.

The "Jeffries/Jefferies" thing is just so weird; it's not like there's another player with a similar name out there, and it's not like "Alshon Jeffries" is any more "right" than "Alshon Jeffrey." It's odd the sheer number of people that default to "Alshon Jeffries," and I want to know why, dammit. Was some idiot announcer or radio guy calling him that repeatedly when he first showed up?

Gruden called him that on MNF. John Fox even has said Jeffries a few times.

Terrific. I just hope he can come back at some point this season, it'd make me feel a lot better about 2016.

Reggie Wayne or Wes Welker? I'd prefer Wayne but Welker has familiarity with Fox/Gase and the offense. With Jeffery also ailing I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in someone pretty quick here.

Hey, everything was starting to feel a little too positive and hopeful, like maybe the season might be a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, you gotta start lowering your standards.

The Bears love drafting injured first rounders. What did Pace know of White's injury when he drafted him because I thought the injury occurred as White prepared for the combine, not during OTA's. Edited by Wilson A2000

They say nothing and that it happened in OTAs. White says he was given a 100% clean bill of health pre-draft.

You thought wrong.

John Fox was the one who said that was the reason a few weeks back: http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/08/05/john-fox-kevin-whites-injury-likely-stems-from-over-training-for-combine/
