It seems like it's been a long time since a Cub has really done anything relevant in an All-Star Game. Off the top of my head, Soriano homering way back in 07 is the last big thing anyone did.

Also, good for the NL, but why the hell did it have to be Peralta on a delightfully STL like hit?

Marlon Byrd basically won an ASG by himself

Man, Rizzo with the Cubs specialty. Yikes.

This is total meatball observation, but it seems like Rizzo is reaching for more pitches out of the zone as the year has gone on. Is there any data to back that up? Probably just bad timing on my part the relative few times I've watched.

Hell yeah. That was awesome.

Yeah Byrd had a good game. I remember Starlin randomly looking super fast in the AS Game in AZ, stealing two bases easily.

It seems that a lot of Cubs players have been swinging at pitches out of the zone on 3-2 where earlier in the year they were walking, but I don't have any data to back that up.

lol, nice job by the camera man to embarrass Harold.

"The number of stars on the jerseys signify how many AS Games they've been to."
