if you offered me one win out of four, but i didn't have to watch or follow any of the games and i could just wake up thursday morning and see the cubs record reflecting that outcome but not know it was due to getting beaten up by the cardinals again, i'd take that, too.

This is a start where Lester has to prove his worth. 7 or 8 innings of shutout ball. If he kick starts it tonight we have a chance to take the first 2 with Arrieta going tomorrow afternoon. Winning the first one will take some of the pressure off the rest of the series. We would all love to see Jon and the offense deliver tonight!
