fingers crossed for Despaigne

MLB Network Radio ‏@MLBNetworkRadio 3m3 minutes ago

Black on Despaigne "He'll make this start, we're hoping for Despaigne to bonce back. When he's on he's on, when he's off he's off"

Not sure how to take this wording (as in tonight or his next) since there was the talk in here that he might start tonight

Nevermind. Trib has Despaigne starting the last game.

Jon Morosi @jonmorosi

James Shields leads MLB with 12 HR allowed this year -- unexpected considering Petco dimensions and NL West.

Man, I wish we would have thrown a bunch of money at Shields during the off-season. 5/90 would have gotten it done.

I think those are just automated, Len just pointed out in an interview that Bryant has a ton of people here to see him tonight since he went to USD, so I'd be surprised if he wasn't in the lineup.

hopefully he gets revenge on shields for those 3 k's on his first game

Petco is awesome. The only thing that kind of sucks is the 10,000 steps it takes to get to the turnstile.

Petco is where I bought my parakeets. Side note: I shouldn't be allowed to have parakeets. They all died within a couple months.

I really thought you meant the stadium for a few seconds.

I'm too damned old for these post-8 pm starts

Am I the only one who kinda thinks it's fun staying up late to watch west coast games? I've loved it since I was a kid.

It does kinda suck at work the next day when they go extra long (but extra inning west coast baseball is sort of weird fun anyway), but I'm usually up that late anyway.

I watch non-Cubs West Coast games all the time. I work 9:30-5:30 M-F from my basement. My life is glorious.
