10-game hitting streak for Russell.

3rd straight garbage start for Arrieta. That's concerning.

You have a very low threshold for garbage starts.

Since the 4th inning or so of the Reds game, how would you describe it?

That's a triple.....yet our guys get charged with errors left and right

Like I said and was told I need to "relax"

This team NEEDS to add a real LF, a STRONG #2/3 level starter....and at LEAST 1 more guy for the pen capable/trustable in a closing situation......EVEN WITH a fully healthy Ramirez and Grimm.....SOONER than later.

Coughlan is terrible out there.

Which sounds good. But it's going to be difficult to add a real LF, a top starter and a good bullpen guy in the middle of a season. Not everything could be obtained in one offseason.

Better than garbage.

Arrieta has been fine so far today. He hasn't been overly good, but his defense and crap batted ball placement have been the reason the Cardinals have scored, and that's not Arrieta's fault.

Coghlan needs to be replaced, tho idk what better options we have. Javy up and Bryant to LF is all I can think of. Szczur/Lake aren't full time starters.

Of course we're stinking it up against Lackey.

And I thought Coghlan's out was going to be a bloop double for sure. Why the hell was Jay playing so close to the line?

Nonsense. It's pixie dust and Satan pacts.

How is it that someone as athletic (looking) as Coghlan can be so terrible playing left field?

Who was it, Clement, I think, who looked sort of athletic but ran like he was carrying Bartolo Colon on his back

I feel like being such a patient team is hurting us against pitchers who pound the strike zone. We need to adjust and look for first-pitch fastballs.

Eh, we've been scoring plenty of runs this series
