Ouch - that had to hurt for the 3B to get spiked like that. Not much Fowler could to do avoid it, though.

you can be both aggressive and smart... 8-)

It took a really aggressive play by Parra to get Fowler. He was out by a decent margin, but I can definitely see why he thought he had a chance.

Way to run yourself out of a great start.

 

Their approach to baserunning has been a net positive. Like Tim said, have to take the bad with the good.
