Make your choice for the Cubs 2015 #20 prospect.

Cast votes for the players you think would be deserving at #20. You can vote for up to two players. This is done because at this point, there will start to be greater diversity in whom people may feel is deserving. Voting for multiple players helps to gain greater resolution in the voting when there are many choices and relatively few voters. Ideally, the votes would be weighted, but that isn't possible with the board software.

If you want to have a player added to the list, please say so.

#1 Kris Bryant

#2 Addison Russell

#3 Jorge Soler

#4 Kyle Schwarber

#5 CJ Edwards

#6 Billy McKinney

#7 Gleyber Torres

#8 Albert Almora

#9 Pierce Johnson

#10 Duane Underwood

#11 Jen-Ho Tseng

#12 Jake Stinnett

#13 Mark Zagunis

#14 Eloy Jimenez

#15 Dan Vogelbach

#16 Carson Sands

#17 Victor Caratini

#18 Armando Rivero

#19 Matt Szczur

Note to myself to add Null to the list for the next vote.

At what point do Bryant, Russell and Soler lose their eligibility as "prospects?" I have to assume that at least Soler is on the verge.

45 days in the big leagues or 130 at bats this season.

Voted Cease and Candelario, and Cease looks like the runaway victor here. To be quite honest, could buy arguments for a lot of people here. Cease probably has the best pure upside left on the board.

I think we're getting close to the point where enough games will have been played that things that happens this year may sway some opinions (namely, Jeremy Null and Dan Vogelbach come to mind, but a few more possibilities come to mind) on rankings. I'm wondering if this should be capped at 20 or 25 (I'm figuring we won't get to 25 until probably mid-May), at which point, we could even start work on a mid-season list. Just a thought ...

Ha! I was just going to suggest that. He is really doing well. No walks so far this season? Wow!

I went with Cease and Black.

Black might turn out to be the midseason minor league relief help we were hoping Edwards or Rivero would be.
