Alright, lets zoom ahead to say beginning of June.

Assuming the following:

1. Cubs still in contention (say 3-4 GB or less for Division)

2. The hurt relievers are back

3. Something Clicks for Javy and he shows remarkable improvement

4. Russell adjusts and is doing fine for a young every day big leaguer. (say .700ish ops)

5. No major injuries to the offense.

If Baez is killing and forcing a callup, Do you almost HAVE to push KB to OF?

I'd say yes you have to.

Would you trade a blue chip for pitching or put all the kids on the field?

If Baez somehow comes back from the brink I could see them doing a Baez/Russell swap unless Russel is just killing it.

I could see that, ok lets say Russell is doing well too and both kids justify playing everyday in the show. What do you do at that point assuming we are still contending come June?

Yeah, that's the obvious easy solution.

I dunno what would you like to see happen assuming the above was to be true?

I would like to see all players to have a minimum 1.000 OPS.

Not sure but Coghlan could potentially be covering the long side of a platoon at a better ops than either, so depending on where Bryant grades out at LF compared to Coghlan and Baez at 3B compared to Bryant, and who could potentially cover the short side of the platoon... It's relevant to ask I think.
