another great throw from decrepit ross

Eh, the throw was fine, beat Kemp there easily

the throw was well short and on the wrong side of the bag. if you want to be a catch and throw catcher you should probably be able to do both of those things.

That swing was all wrists and the ball was crushed.

I'm glad we traded Cashner. That hair/beard combo has no place on this team.

Kind of like jean shorts, eh?

Oh geez, not you too

The hit and run has been working exceedingly well so far.

Oh come on, even when he gets a hit and it affects nothing you have to bag on Castro?

It could have affected things, though. The point was valid, he didn't harp on it, just mentioned something that didn't happen on camera.

Yeah that's a real weird play to get hung up on. That was a shallow single, even if the throw went to 3rd Castro would still likely be dead at 2B.

Again Coughlan doesn't get the guy in from third with less than 2 outs.

Coghlan had an RBI single in the first.

And that pitch was not a strike.

I don't think he really got hung up on it, though. He mentioned it and left it alone.

Yeah, I'm gonna cut him some slack for not swinging at a 97 mph heater that may or may not have been a strike on the inside corner.

The meatballs don't need extra fuel. It's already intolerable listening to most fans of both the Cubs and other teams talk about Castro. What's even worse is other teams are now applying the same labels to Baez.

The thing we are doing to get the starting pitchers pitch count to a point where he's out by the 5-6th inning consistently, yeah we should keep doing that. Edited by Cubswin11

That was a great pitch by Cashner. He had Coghlan looking outside and busted him with a 97 mph fastball on (off) the inside corner at the hands.
