If a guy is that bad at free throws, they need to change what they are doing. To be that bad and continue shooting the same way is not going to alter the results much, especially if you aren't practicing them. But, has anyone ever been extremely bad and made a tremendous improvement over time?

Derrick Rose shot like 70% in college (not extremely bad, but he's like a career 81% in the NBA so big improvement there). Duncan? Although he been up and down his whole career. Camby was bad then had a stretch of improvement then went bad. Kevin Garnett was like Rose where he went from low 70s to consistently 80+ (as high as 86%). Tristan Thompson? Shot 55/60% first 2 years, switched hands then shot 69/64% the past 2 years.

Of the teams that are left:

Rockets: 2 titles, last in 1995, 4 finals appearances, 5 series wins in last 20 seasons

Warriors: 3 titles, last in 1975, last WCF appearance was 1976, only 11 playoff appearances in 40 seasons since, only 3 series victories in last 23 seasons

Clippers: no titles, no finals appearances, no conference finals appearances, only 5 series victories in 45 seasons

Grizzlies: no titles, no finals appearances, 1 WCF appearance, 4 series victories in 20 years

Cavs: no titles, 1 finals appearance, 5 ECF appearances

Hawks: 1 title in 1958, 4 finals appearances (last in 1961 but none in Atlanta), never made ECF in 47 seasons in Atlanta

Wizards: 1 title in 1978, 4 finals appearances (last in 1979), 4 series wins in 36 years

It's been a while since we've had anything like this. In the West alone one of the Spurs or Lakers have been in the WCF for 13 of the past 15 years.

42-13 run by Houston over the last 13 minutes, almost all of which came with Harden on the bench.

And Lakers fans have come back out of the woodwork on my Facebook and Twitter feeds.

That clippers collapse makes me feel better

Makes me feel worse. The Rockets didn't completely give up like the Bulls did and won an elimination game on the road.

The Bulls were a blown double digit lead from a 3-1 lead and what Cleveland just did to Atlanta is exactly why that series pissed me off so much.

LeBron is the first player since some of the guys on the 60's Celtics to play in five straight finals.

LeBron is unquestionably the best player in the game, but I think that's more of a testament to how terrible the east has been for a while than anything else.

They likely would have just been annihilated by the Warriors, so all you would have gotten is an extra round of flagellating yourself for being a Bulls fan.

What if Curry's brains are scrambled?

4-1 instead of 4-0.

As amusing as I'm sure that would've been for you, neither I nor anyone else had delusions of beating a healthy Warriors team as opposed to a ridiculously banged-up Cleveland team.

Still smarter than Rose.

Cleveland missed some shots but man that was some good defense by the Warriors in OT.

If Irving's out, the slim chance Cleveland had just evaporated.

I would imagine that price is driven a lot by the beer, I bet it makes up $14-16 at least of it.

The individual prices of food can be seen on the left. The food isn't cheap by itself.

That was an ugly game. Well done by Cleveland to pull it out even after they blew it in regulation.

Curry had an absolutely dreadful game. He missed some open looks but he definitely seemed to be forcing some shots as well.
