Maybe not crazy, but I doubt it. The Cubs just moved Russell to 2B in the minors, and similar moves with Baez and Alcantara took place just a few weeks prior to a call-up. If Russell handles 2B okay, wouldn't be surprised to see him by Memorial Day.

then why did you comment about what tv channel the cubs game was on?

I think the Cubs will call up either Russell or Baez by June for sure. Both of them can help the club with baserunning and defense, even if they don't hit right away. I'm sure the preference would be for Javy to get off strong at Iowa and get the first call, but I don't think Super Two will impact the decision on Russell one way or the other.
