A lot of teams seem to have that opinion. Pitchers don't have as steep of a learning curve as hitters, might as well get value from them while you can.

think i've mentioned it before, but i trace back the fact that i have no interest in hockey to the blackhawks trading roenick right when i was getting into watching sports (including hockey). was even playing the [expletive] out of nhl faceoff on playstation.

 

i can't create that emotional investment now. oh well. that [expletive] bill wirtz cost me a couple championships.
