Cardinals broadcast saying that the only pitcher with a higher April winning percentage (min 20 starts) than Lynn is Babe Ruth.

 

Per Baseball Reference, Lynn has only had 15 games started in March/April. He's 12-1.

 

Guess it was min 15 games. Whatever. Somewhat interesting stat nonetheless.

I'm certain it's wrong and confirmation bias, but it seems like since 2008 we have been dog [expletive] at hitting with RISP

 

I haven't looked at the other years, but it's been a problem or crappy luck for at least the last two.

13 decisions (and 12 of them wins) out of 15 starts during the first month where SP often are limited on pitch count is crazy.
