He has to realize that stance is a part of why Bryant is going to be starting in Iowa.

He has to realize that stance is a part of why Bryant is going to be starting in Iowa.

 

Why would he care that his stance is why Bryant is starting in Iowa? His concern is getting Bryant (and himself) more money as soon as possible. His argument that Bryant is good enough to start in the majors now is being proven right now, which also goes to help his argument that he doesn't want his guy signing a long term extension before he has to.

Why would he care that his stance is why Bryant is starting in Iowa? His concern is getting Bryant (and himself) more money as soon as possible. His argument that Bryant is good enough to start in the majors now is being proven right now, which also goes to help his argument that he doesn't want his guy signing a long term extension before he has to.

 

More than anything it's a starting point for negotiations around the extension, "if you have any interest, you have to start in record territory".
