Cutler came out 1st for his PC, really early while most of the reporters were still in the locker room. He answered like 3 questions and left because no one knew he was talking.

 

Also media was told that Trestman will not be talking to the media Tuesday and Wednesday strangely

Grudges probably thinks cutler should do all the press conferences.

 

 

Emery made it clear he wasnt happy with how trestman handled kromer situation. He may be gone tomorrow.

 

I agree. He made it a point to say that Trestman was responsible for dealing with the Kromer thing, which was largely mocked by the media. Beginning stages of throwing Trestman under the bus. I don't think he's gone tomorrow but I think it's increasingly likely he's gone after the season.

I missed this - when did Emery say thus or where did anonymous sources say so?

His route running has been bad and his blocking has been horrific. He's done well stat-wise though.

Uh, yeah you've missed the entire season if you think his has been kickass.

 

In other news, emery spoke before the game about how much of a joke the kromer situation was. Made it clear he wasnt happy with apology or the fact that the apology is why the news leaked in the first place. Noted that punishment was trestman's call despite not agreeing with it.

His route running has been bad and his blocking has been horrific. He's done well stat-wise though.

Blocking/holds is one of the thing that stuck in my mind, but even still the production is pretty hard to question unless you think its just like 30% due to our awful vertical game giving him lots of dump offs.

Oh come on, number one in receptions and three in yards is hardly a shitty season even accounting for his other downsides like blocking. Even you want to make adjustments to the volume due to play calling / situational adjustments the guy is having his best season as a pro.

He's also having a great statistical season among his peers (unlike Cutler who is middle of the pack). Obviously volume isn't everything and I have no problem criticizing his quote, but shitty season is not somewhere I'd go.

For me I'd say "Yeah, Black Unicorn trying to deflect attention from himself for the Bears [expletive] season."

 

As opposed to Cutler who will say we or I no matter if it was his fault or not.

This article uses "respect" a lot. Talks about the system and doesn't mention disagreement (which IMO would be silly to say unless you were saying it to announce his termination).
