I was so thankful I didn't go to that game and went to the games the next two days instead.

EJax did not allow a BB in his last start, making it only the 20th time that's happened in 255 career starts.

 

Here's his stat line in his next start following those 20 games: 1-13 (6 ND) 6.86 ERA/1.80 WHIP. Opponents are 18-2 in these situations.

Front office did the right thing with Olt and Barney. I trust they'll do the same with Jackson eventually. It's a huge shame we have no other viable options in the rotation. I'd just start taking fliers on guys and see if someone sticks.
