How often do you get 3 more batting practice fastballs from some puggish man - frog?

These reds have a [expletive] hitter at every position.

This was an enjoyable game to attend

Anthony Rizzo with a .288/.404/.532/.936 line on pace for 37 HR and 95 RBI.

He makes old school statistics sexy again.

BTW, only 2 Cubs have finished with over 500 PA and a +.900 OPS in the last 9 seasons.

really seems like between the big league success lately by key pieces and what is going on at AAA, you can really see the turnaround beginning to take shape

I can't believe our pitching is this good and Castro and Rizzo are in the conversation for best in the league at their position and we're still this bad.

I was thinking the same thing today. If the FO had given us anything resembling a major league outfield this team might actually have made some noise.

You're forgetting about the highly coveted draft picks that are super important

yeah, who wants guys like Bryant.

If it came right down to it, I'd gladly trade the high pick for a lesser first-round pick, millions and millions in attendance revenue, better TV ratings, and a bunch more extra wins worth of players on the big league squad.

Yeah, sometimes you get a Bryant, but sometimes you get an Almora or an Appel.

Thank you

Oh God, not this [expletive] again.

I'd just like to thank Len Kasper for tweeting about the perfecto, which reminded me that the game was on so I could ask the bartender to turn it on.

I did not like seeing Castro getting hit in the hand though.
