Can I put Guerrero in the minors or no?

I thought the only reason you got to draft him in the MLB draft is if you kept him in the majors all year?

Don't know. When we were searching through previous examples during the draft it provided conflicting stories. Sometimes it was just if he didn't start the year in the majors, you lose him. Sometimes it was what you wrote. Sometimes it was that we published a list of eligible players in advance and we could do whatever with them (those lists ended up similar to IFA players eligible for unlimited signing bonuses).

 

I'm just looking for a ruling one way or another and I'll manage the roster accordingly.

I'm reluctant to side with tim because I know he'll interpret that as him convincing me or tricking me or something, but it sounds like the guy was on the mlb roster on opening day, correct? I mean, if I'm missing something, let me know.

He just has to start in the majors - like any other major leaguer, he can be in your minors when he is actually in the minors. ie when he gets called back up, Tim has to move him.
