Chicago against either.

Sweet.

:beg: for Blackhawks getting a chance at back-2-back Cups!

Some nice tank jobs in the playoffs this year.

-Sharks blow 3-0 lead and lose Game 7 at home.

-Avalanche blow 3-2 lead and lose Game 7 at home.

-Bruins blow 3-2 lead and lose Game 7 at home.

-Pittsburgh blows 3-1 lead and loses Games 5 and 7 at home.

-Blues blow 2-0 lead to lose final four games (though only one of these was at home).

They won tonight to salvage it but the Kings also won Games 1 and 2 in Anaheim before losing Games 3 and 4 at home and falling behind 3-2 in the series.

Penguins fire Bylsma and Shero, their GM.

Tough break but they are the ones without no trade clauses.

Apparently the Bylsma reports were premature. The plan is to bring in a new GM and let him decide.

That makes some sense. No doubt Bylsma is one of the better coaches in the league.

However, it would be crappy for them to wait a month and then fire him if that kept him from getting another job.

Looks like we're getting LA.

Home ice is awesome, but LA is better than I realized. They were No. 1 and we were No. 2 in the NHL in both Corsi and Fenwick even-strength percentage.

There's a really good chance this is series that decides who wins the Cup.

Home teams are one period away from being 1-5 in Game 7s this postseason.

Price is out for the rest of the NY series, and some reports say the season.

Larry Brooks tweeted a good point, that the Habs swept Tampa when they were missing Bishop.

But obviously a huge break for NY and potentially for Chicago or LA.
