This is deserving of its own thread since it's unlikely any of us will ever see something like this again.

13th inning, runners at 2nd and 3rd, no out, Auburn intentionally walks Ole Miss' best hitter for the third time in the game. Auburn pitcher misses his spot in the worst possible place:

I saw this headline over the weekend and was really disappointed when I saw the video. The headline makes you imagine the guy hitting a ball in the other batter's box over the fence, but all that happens is the guy throws the worst intentional ball ever(it's probably in the strike zone), and the batter crushes it.

Didn't disappoint me!

But ya, would have been super awesome if he reached out and hit one.

how dialed in was this dude. If im the team's best hitter and the pitcher is IBBing me, I'm barely even paying attention, much less able to get a good swing on a surprise lob down the middle.

He said that the previous time he was IBB'd (three times that game) that the pitcher (same pitcher) left one over the plate and that the umpire said "Normally I would call that a strike", so he was prepared for it. But ya, normally I'd think on your third IBB of the game you'd be up there sleepwalking.

Bill Madlock did it against the Cubs as well - not a home run though.
