Week 15: Bears (7-6) @ Browns (4-9) Noon, FOX

it's going to be fun when everybody ignores the difference between the Cowboys defense and the Browns defense when discussing this game.

They are clearly better, but either way that was a terrible throw on the INT bad defense or not

McCown makes the same throw. Nobody was open underneath.

It wasn't a great throw but the decision making was fine, he just slightly mistimed the throw. I don't worry about Cutler's arm or ability to make accurate throws when healthy. It's the decision making that sometimes gives me pause (but not enough pause to prefer a 35 yo journeyman QB over him)

That end around isn't fooling anyone lately.

And they stopped running that misdirection pitch out in favor of that bunched up draw.

Not just talking about that. Media has a tendency to ignore defensive differences when analyzing overall offensive performance. See Biggs, Brad.

That's some odd play calling.

Settling for the FG. Yuck.

Nice try. Is your only response not that it was a bad throw/decision, but McCown makes the same one? Maybe McCown throws the ball away or something else. But you can't say McCown makes the same throw when his INT % is 6 times less. Maybe McCown doesn't march them down like Cutler did, but seeing what we saw of McCown that throw doesn't happen with him as much as it does with Cutler.

We need to punch these guys down the field and not give their second and third level guys a chance to swarm like they do.

McCown made the same throw last week and a Marshall tip saved it from being a pick. Nice try.

Yep. Confused with Wilson and cubbyvirus's reactions wanting dump offs.

Coulda, should, woulda is now way to live life. Jay's weaknesses are Jay's weaknesses and they haven't improved that much this year. He is what he is. There is nothing wrong with admitting that McCown doesn't turn the ball over as much.

Except that's only definitively true if you look at a handful of games this year.

Haha, what was he thinking? Poorly placed ball, the tight end wasn't going to catch up to that.

Looked like Bowman was a WR and was hit in stride
