Season not over yet?

Just need to get Briggs, Ratliff, Conte and Wright back from their injuries. Wait Conte and Wright aren't injured?

Haha... I read that and saw "Conte and Wright" and immediately though, "Well, that explains a lot! Didn't realize they were playing hurt." Then I finished the sentence and chortled a bit.

Jeff Shiver is the Bears scout (he's actually Executive Scout/Assistant Director of College Scouting) at the Oregon-Stanford game tonight. Every NFL team has at least one scout.

17 GMs are at the game.

Only player that really interests me for Oregon is Hroniss Granu the center. Lokombo is interesting at LB, I guess. Stanford has a lot of talent of interest.

What about that Skov kid?

I like Skov - he's so much better than last year (when he was still recovering from an ACL tear) but the Bears don't need an MLB. The guy I really like is DE Trent Murphy, who I imagine will get picked in the back half of the first round. They have a few other intriguing guys (including injured DT Ben Gardner and S Ed Reynolds). I also really like CB Alex Carter but he's only a sophomore.

But then again, they all go to Stanford so how tough can they really be?

100% on everything. Murphy is definitely someone I think will be a possiblity to the Bears, especially if they are a playoff team and draft in the early-to-mid 20s. Maybe not so much at 18 or so they'll draft if no playoffs.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how we can stop this offense. Crappy turf and decent winds are the only things I'm clinging to.
Sunny, with a high near 46. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

McClellin doubtful.

I hate Shea too but really, it just hurts the depth so it's not really a good thing. I don't even know the dude that's replacing him.

Agreed. David Bass, the Raiders 7th rounder in April will start and Cornelius Washington, the Bears' 6th rounder in April will be the #3 DE. Both are worse options than McClellin right now.

Yeah probably going to need another great performance from Tillman on Johnson. Peppers is going to have to get a pass rush going Detroit will be starting 2 rookies on the right side, both backups unlike the Bears' right side. And somebody is going to have to tackle Bush for a change (looking at you Bostic and Wright).

To make him feel at home you should refer to quarters as "segments"

NFL Matchup showed one of the Bush runs from the last game, and showed how the Bears called the right defense, had the safety sneak up late and fill the run gap, and Conte just completely missed the tackle. He was there and just blew it.

Making the tackles is going to be the biggest thing the Bears can do. I'd almost rather see Steltz in there for Conte.

who are the backups? Warford's started from day 1 and Waddle (lol) has overtaken Fox as the starter
