Yeah, his comments didn't sound like much to be concerned with, to me.

Yeah and based on his responses, it almost seems like the media is sort of baiting him into talk about it.

Alshon Jeffery is 8th in the NFL with 429 yards receiving and Brandon Marshall is 16th at 378. That puts Jeffery on pace for 1374 yards and Marshall on pace for 1210. And Martellus Bennett is on pace for 899 yards.

CFL offense.

what am i looking at? the yellowing grass?

You're looking at the battlefield where, in a matter of hours, the Coughlin crew will meet their definitive demise.

Just out of curiousity, what's Forte's pace?

640 receiving yards, 1,200 rushing yards

Forte only has one fewer reception than Jeffery.

More nervous than I should be at this point, mostly due to the fact that it's a must-win, even if not technically so.

If the Giants can eliminate their turnovers, they can move the ball well enough to keep up, especially with the way this defense has been lately.

You copying off my blog? And as bad as 0-5 is, the Giants are only 2 games out of the division (though they have lost to both teams in 1st place).

I'm thinking a repeat of the Steelers game. Bears need to get a score early on offense, especially since they haven't been able to do that the last 2 weeks. Then get an early turnover to get a struggling team in the "here we go again" mindstate. Maybe they figure things out for a little bit and make it close (rather complete the blowout if the Bears get up early) but then the Bears pull away late.

Early offensive score, get early turnover on D. Giants aren't going to be able to come back from double digits.

Nah, although I just now read it and see why you would say that. It's pretty obvious stuff to me. What keeps me from being comfortable going into tonight is simply the fact that I can't regard NYG as a typical 0-5 team, due mostly to recent years' success, even though all the numbers tell me they're as garbage as their record.

I'm hoping for a game similar to the Dallas one last year. That [expletive] was fun to watch.

It's really hard to be comfortable in an NFL game these days, unless you are a fan of a select few teams.

Just when you're feeling good about things, you find yourself in the 49ers' shoes, looking like utter crap for 2 straight weeks, or Cincy getting beat by the Browns, or Atlanta suddenly looking like they won't win 6 games all year.

Nobody knows what's going to happen tonight, or next week, or any week. Feeling a little uneasy is just the way it is.

Thursday night games always seem wacky. The Giants suck though. I think the Bears will struggle to score (at least relative to how easy its been for other teams to score) and win a close 23-17 game

I changed my mind...

Bears 55

Giants 13

Cutler 6 TDs, 3 to Marshall, 3 to Jeffery

Forte with a rushing TD, 2 FGs by Gould.

What's the weather looking like for tonight?

FFFFFFFF.

@mikecwright: Not saying he won't go, but Tillman sure isn't doing much. @caplannfl reported he's more doubtful than questionable. Sure looks that way.

Dry and mild.

Tillman is inactive. [expletive].

So is Paea. Martellus Bennett is active.
