Entertaining way to end the season. Pretty much the worst case scenario of a season. Rose misses another year, we get nothing back for Deng, team doesn't tank for a draft pick and their reward is being depantsed in the playoffs, bobcats thrive on a shitty east and render one of the bulls better assets into the 17th pick.

 

Now it's time for fans to get giddy about free agent superstars that won't come here and another attempt for Rose to resurrect his career.

It was never going to happen. They would have had to fire Thibs to make it happen, and even then it was an uphill battle with the crappy teams around them. Couple that with how it's a crapshoot as to where you end up in the top 5, and how often not even all of the top 5 picks are worth it and it was a complete pipe dream. It would actually have been harder for the Bulls to end up with the #1 pick than winning the whole damn thing.

Well, Boozer is terrible at rebounding and Taj was hurt, plus you have the refs swallowing their whistles on top of all the Bulls key guys playing twice as many minutes as the Wizards, and that'll happen.
