I missed it but my sister called & said the camera caught some chick flashing the Hawks bench as Khabibulin was getting benched. Anyone else see that?

Seems to me that Kane (among others) is missing the net entirely too often.

That game really rescued the night after starting off watching the Bulls.

Nice catch. I figured my sister oversold it.

I'd rather see Raanta Klause come to town closer to Christmas so he can learn the nuances of the NA game playing every night instead of once every two weeks.

I agree, I think with the Hawks playing back to back nights every weekend in November, khabi will have a few chances to right the ship.

Jeez I flip back a little late and miss 3 Hawks goals.

[expletive] me too. WTF happened?

Jets D is so suspect.

Pretty much. Plus terrible goaltending. In order, Hammer on a rocket off the draw, Bollig keeps it on a 2v1 off a bad pinch, Sharp puts away a breakaway, and Leddy put one through about 6 screens.

Not a DLR but a dominant win anyway. The Jets announcers were very impressed

The fans were resigned after awhile that their team just isn't talented enough.

I felt a little bad because they are an intense crowd. It was far different than the "see and be seen" Toronto crowds. These people care and their team sucks. Bummed me out a little. And they aren't genteel Canadians either. I was shocked when they booed Toews and especially Crow when he was hurt.

As for the city, Winnipeg is great. Good restaurants, nice people, not crazy traffic. Totally recommend the trip.

It started as a Second City Hockey reference and continues on at TCI. When the Hawks win by 5 goals, Everybody Wants Some by David Lee Roth is the song of the day. I had a feeling I'd be explaining that one but I also am pretty sure there are people here that also go there.

Phew, they do finally convert, but unfortunately, it was literally one second after the first PP expired, so we don't get 18 extra seconds of PP time. I'll take it though
