That's a strong team, 8 or 10 team league? Either way that should challenge for a title. Here's my first league for money that I drafted last night, 10 team standard rules (2nd year of a keeper league and I kept RGIII, AP, and McFadden). My big money draft is tomorrow night.

QB RGIII

RB AP

RB McFadden

WR Reggie Wayne

WR Malcom Floyd

TE Jimmy Graham

FLEX Sproles

K Polish Cannon

DEF Tampa

Bench

QB Eli

RB R. Mathews

RB R. Hillman

RB D. Thomas

WR A. Jeffery

WR. Micheal Floyd

Def a little weak at WR, but Graham makes up for that a bit. Hopefully Jeffery has a big year and/or Malcom Floyd is the beneficiary of San Diego being down all year and Rivers having to chuck it a lot with him being their only WR threat.

Its a 10 team league. Top heavy though because of a few bad players. I thin Aaron Hernandez got drafted in round 8 or 9.

Very nice team. I think you hit the nail on the head with your strengths and weaknesses.

What did you have to give up to keep McFadden? I'm just not a fan.

I like McFadden. He was a stud for me in 2011, so I'm biased.

Yeah I'm a fan of his, their offensive change in the running game benefits him more this year and hopefully he stays a bit more healthy.

Does anyone use Yahoo? They did this new draft grades thing that said one of my drafts was a C-, but when I ran the team through Football Outsiders, they said I was strong at every position (except TE) and had a 95% chance of making the playoffs with poor in-season management.

lol im in a very competitive 12-team league. Football guys gave me a 95% chance of playoffs and yahoo gave me a d- and said i'd go 1-13.

Yeah, I don't trust anything yahoo tells me. The best draft grade in our league was a B+, but the football guys were gushing, saying he was a lock for the playoffs.

They gave me a b, but most everyone got a b. Im also in a competitive 12 man league. They said I'll go 6-8 and miss the playoffs.

Projections are so pointless, there isnt enough of a sample size to quantify anyones chances if teams are fairly even.

I'm in a 10 team league of friends that had a newcomer draft Brandon Marshall and the Bears D at the turn. Now there a few teams that are overly stacked. I was drafting 9th.

RGIII

Jamaal Charles

Alfred Morris

Reggie Bush

Demaryius Thomas

Victor Cruz

Jared Cook

Pats D

Matt Bryant

Daryl Richardson

Pierre Garcon

James Jones

Michael Vick

Zach Sudfeld

Justin Blackmon

Jordan Cameron

I drafted Leveon Bell and dropped him after his injury to grab a 3rd TE.

I have 3 teams so far (will have 5 - several different groups of friends have long-term leagues), but this is my favorite. 14-team auction league ($200 budget), each year you can keep 3 players if you had them on your roster the entire prior season (1 for 2 years, 2 for 1), but they must remain on your roster through the duration of the keeper (or be traded).

QB - Matt Stafford (2nd year of 2-year keeper - $16)

RB - C.J. Spiller (1st year of 2-year keeper - $11)

RB - David Wilson ($26)

WR - Victor Cruz ($32)

WR - Antonio Brown (2nd year of 2-year keeper - $1) traded Fred Jackson for him this week

TE - Greg Olsen ($8 or $9, I forget)

Flex - Hakeem Nicks ($22)

Flex - Dwayne Bowe (1-year keeper - $22)

Bench - TY Hilton ($14 I think)

Bench - Tavon Austin ($19)

Bench - Dwayne Allen ($4)

Bench - Jay Cutler ($3)

Bench - Bryce Brown ($4)

K - Matt Bryant ($3)

DEF - Houston ($5)

The only place I feel a little weak is RB, but all the RBs were going for such ridiculously high prices (see David Wilson) that I decided to load up on WRs instead.

RB Spiller

RB McFadden

WR Julio Jones

WR Vincent Jackson

TE Jermichael Finley

Bench:

Cutler

Roethlisberger

R. Mathews

S. Jackson

R. Mendenhall

That footballguys tool said...

Bottom line:

With great inseason management, we think you have about a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs.

With good inseason management, we think you have about a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs.

With average inseason management, we think you have a 87 percent chance of making the playoffs.

10 team league, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, D, K, 6xBench. Snake, I was the 5th pick:

Pos / Player / Team / Round

QB: Kaepernick (SF) 3

RB: Lynch (Sea) 2

RB: Bush (Det) 6

WR: C. Johnson (Det) 1

WR: A. Johnson (Hou) 4

WR: Moore (NO) 10

TE: Rudolph (Min) 8

D: Seattle (Sea) 5

K: Prater (Den) 8

Bench

QB: RG3 (Was) 7

WR: S. Moss (Was) 11

TE: M. Bennett (Chi) 12

RB: G. Bernard (Cin) 13

WR: A. Jeffery (Chi) 14

WR: A. Dobson (NE) 15

I took a few risks in the draft, especially with the bench. I will try to spin one of Kaepernick and RG3 once the season gets going. I was VERY close to getting Matt Forte in the 3rd round, but he was picked right before me. This team is not without its weaknesses, but it seemed like the player picking before me knew my draft board.

This is a 50/50 league in terms of competitiveness. Some players know what they're doing. Others draft Eddie Lacy in the 1st round, and GB's D in the 2nd.

Without knowing exactly was available, I don't love any of your top 5 picks.

Boo! :-)

I felt like I had a decent draft, but I don't feel nearly as confident as I did last year. I played a lot of mind games with myself this year... over-analyzed some players/situations.
