Raisin who do you think is getting bumped from Iowa's rotation now that Rusin and Raley are both back? I would assume those two plus Arrieta and Moscoso are gonna remain starting. So will it be Loux or Struck?

I'd actually think it would be Moscoso that would be bumped.

Struck has had the worst season and his stuff has also regressed.

The only guys locked in to rotation spots now are Arrieta and Cabrera; they could even move one of Rusin or Raley to the pen if they figure that's their big league future.

Maples for Boise...This should be interesting.

Such a sad series of non-progression. Hopefully the pitching guru can sort him out. I had high hopes for him.

Maples reminds me of early Rich Hill. You can see the talent but he can't find a release point and has horrid control and poor results because of that.

Hopefully it clicks for him like it did for Hill for those two or three years.

I plan on going to the I-Cubs game on Monday. They have a promotion where fans can take BP on the field before the game. Any idea how this works???

Holy crap, I want in on this.

I'd offer to carpool, but I'm passing through (going to Fort Dodge, IA) for work.

This is the description.

Pre-game Fan Batting Practice

Fans can take their cuts on the field before the game from 5:35-6:15.

Presented by Scheels

It's got to be like one swing and go, right?

It's too hard for me to carpool with two kids in boosters anyways. lol.

It's not just Daytona, its the whole FSL. They're playing on the road in Port Charlotte today, but it probably doesn't make a difference because the radar around Daytona doesn't look any better.

Pineyro so far today: 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K. Yet to allow a run in ten innings with Daytona.
