The Cubs are playing at a 83 win pace when they aren't playing St. Louis, Pittsburgh, or Cincinnati. Unfortunately, those teams compose about 35% of their schedule this year.

agreed, baseball is a lot more fun when the cubs are playing teams like the mariners who are also bad.
