Today we see if anyone besides a Cub pitcher can get a hit the first time through the lineup for the first time in a week.

 

Baby steps.

And I gave up about 45 minutes ago. Judging by the scoring alerts my phone's been giving me, it's a good thing I did.

Well, you are missing Arsenio Hall in the booth tonight. Nothing like tuning into a cubs game and having to listen to them struggle through an interview. Len and JD clearly ready to get back to baseball.

This game translated to a pro wrestling match that never happened (sadly). CM Punk (who just told all of his friends to go bleep themselves and not get involved in his match) vs Brian Pillman (who naturally brings with him the entire Hart Foundation (Bret, Owen, Jim The Anvil, British Bulldog, what the hell toss in Tyson Kidd, Davey Jr, Natalya, and so on) in a No DQ Match.

 

Things...don't go well for Punk. :eek:

Last time the CUBS committed 4 errors in a game.... Fri 10 Aug 2012 (5 errors) in a 10-8 loss to Cincinnati at Wrigley

Last time the CUBS allowed 6 runs in an inning.... Mon 27 Aug 2012 (9 runs in the 9th inning) in a 15-4 loss to Milwaukee at Wrigley

Last time the CUBS allowed 12 runs in a game.... Sat 01 Jun 2013 in a 12-4 loss to Arizona at Wrigley

Last time the CUBS allowed 16 hits in a game.... Sat 01 Jun 2013 (17 hits) in a 12-4 loss to Arizona at Wrigley

Last time the CUBS opponents made 2 sac bunts in a game.... Thu 25 Apr 2013 (2 sac) in a 4-3 win at Miami

I wouldn't say I was missing it... The only thing I like with Arsenio was Coming to America, and I think that was because I was 12 and there were boobs in the movie.
