Every game so far was decided by double digits or currently has a team leading by double digits except Marquette-Davidson which just started.

Pittsburgh is god awful. Real glad I picked them.

Yeah, frustrated that I decided to have Pitt upset Gonzaga and go to the Elite 8.

Guess I forgot to remember how little success Jamie Dixon has had in the tournament.

Wichita State and Pitt are a combined 3 of 34 from 3.

Pitt pulls this crap every year. At least I only had them winning one game this time.

Is this stupid of me to say? I am not sure I like how they/ve staggered these games out more the last couple of years. I kind of liked when there were 4 sessions per day with 4 games per session all starting within 10 minutes of each other. It was fun when 2-3 games were all close and all ending within minutes of each other. Sure once in awhile you missed the ending to a close game because you were watching another one, but it kind of fed into that whole chaotic first round of march madness vibe that everyone loves.

Now the games are staggered so theres like 20+ minutes in between games ending, leaving there little chance that 2 games will come down to the wire at the same time. In theory this is good, but when there are 3 games ending around the same time, there are better odds of one or more of them coming down to the wire. The way its set up now, if a game is a blowout, its a long wait in between exciting end of game moments.

But all the games are on TV now, so you're not at the mercy of your local CBS affiliate deciding what to watch. The staggered times mean that you're never stuck with a lull where no games are being played.

I definitely see UMF's point and I've said similar before, but ultimately I do think the pros outweigh the cons.

Four games in, and the closest result was MSU-Valpo.

And that was a blowout that happened to look relatively close at the end.

Memphis vs. St. Mary's is at a tipping point right now. St. Mary's needs a mini-run to get back into it, while a mini-run by Memphis ices it

Big East representing strong. Pittsburgh loses by 18 and Marquette trails at the half to a 14.

Breaking: The Big East really wasn't all that good this year. Louisville and Georgetown were great, the others all have/had clear flaws.

Memphis didn't beat a single tournament team this year, as a reward they were given a 6 seed and an exhausted St. Mary's team, and they're STILL trying to throw the game away.

Strongly agree. Between this watering down of the tourney and football's systematic and prolonged rape of its best conferences, CBB is a shade of what it used to be.

I don't get wanting 4 games to end within 15 minutes of each other, then have to be bored for 2 hours waiting for the next set of finishes.

In other news, Southern is going basket for basket with Gonzaga
