trading can begin on 1/16/13.

keepers due 2/14/13.

and holy [expletive] do NOT be late with your keepers, that's really [expletive] annoying.

Hmmm, I'll have to dig deeper when I get home

You have Ryan Braun, but it was agreed before you got in the league that he would be traded to me for Edwin Encarnacion and prospects.

In keeping with tradition, you must draft players already drafted, including taking the #2 overall selection in last June's draft with your 2nd round pick in our prospect draft.

Tradition states that whomever owns the #1 overall pick trades it to me for...not so much. :)

Trout and your #2 are a small price to pay Tim

I'm thinking more along the lines of Dee Gordon.

Trout and Dee Gordon?

I could add Espinosa on top of Gordon if you like.

Hey, you said you wanted Dee.

Wrong Dee.

Rubby De La Rosa - He spent all of last year in the minors. But 2 years ago he had 10 starts.

So...

A) I cannot stash him in the minors, because he had more than 10 starts.

B) I can stash him in the minors, but he needs to be in the minors when the season starts or I lose him.

My guess is the correct answer is A, but I want to have my opinion confirmed.

I believe B is correct.

That's the draft rule. In the draft, you can take a player in the MLB draft and if they start in the Majors, you keep them, even if they haven't been in the majors yet.

According to abuck, viewtopic.php?p=2864355#p2864355, once a player exceeds the RK limit, he can't be in your minors.

We'll need a ruling from abuck, but I believe we've always played that if a player is in the actual minors, he can be in yours.

I believe that Abuck will say it was OK for me to draft him in the ML draft last year. It was OK for me to stash him on my DL for most of the season. It was OK for me to move him to the minors at the end of last year, since he was actually in the minors. But if I want to keep him for the off season, then he must be one of my 10 major league keepers. No one who has exceeded Roadkill's minor league limits can be kept in the minors during the off season.

Also, Dan Hudson is available. Almost no points and you will be able to stash him on the DL at the start of next year. :clapping:

My page shows i have no players, is this true?

Yes, you gave them all to me.

What part of Minnesota are you from?

BTW - If Roadkill is not working for you, then you may need to update your browser. Try Chrome.

That was my understanding. When rosters are legal, you get 10 ML keepers and 10 guys that haven't exceeded the RK minors limits.
