This one seems to have two clear top vote getters. How close determines a run-off?

When will Bruno be added to the list?

Bill

I'll add him to the next poll, along with any other player requests.

I don't think we're in danger of actually NEEDING to add guys yet, but I could certainly see some or all of Tayler Scott, Carreno, Ha, Zych, and Trey Martin making the top 30.

I think it's safe to go to a Vitters/Johnson run-off for 10/11

If so, I think the voting for #12 could be held simultaneously

Good point.

Shiny new toy syndrome is showing. Third base is a smoking empty crater all across the league, and a 23-year-old with AAA success at the position is having trouble breaking into the top 10.

I've been voting for him since #5, but I think this has a lot more to do with his major league struggles

I have this poll closing tomorrow but I think we can safely set up the run-off now itself. Anyone disagree?

Johnson's been on a late run, may not need to. I'm fine with it though, may as well start vote for 12 as well, if we do the runoff.

I definitely find Vitters to be underrated, whether it's just by Cubs fans or by the FO as well. He seems like a guy who's guaranteed to be a good hitter with at least around average power. I think he'll eventually be at least an okay defender at 3B. I just hear so much negativity surrounding the guy that it starts to affect my view of him. I've been voting for him and like him, but I'm probably more optimistic that most fans. Also, I tend to favor two things in prospects, age relative to competition and proximity to the majors, so Vitters is on the right side of the continuum for both of those.
