Apparently this is a 100 loss team after all. Putrid. Here's hoping it was worth it!

I sure hope so. I don't think I can handle another season of draft pick rooting.

 

The Pirates lost 105 games in 2010 and then were semi-competitive for parts of both 2011 and 2012 with fewer financial resources, so let's hope the Cubs can at least show some signs of life next year.

A loss also seals the #2 pick, I think

Correct. The magic number is 1. Colorado has a 1-0 lead, so I would prefer they beat the Dodgers and the Cubs avoid 100 losses... but that also helps the Cardinals, so I'm not sure.
