I think it's a pretty good one, Yahoo thinks it benefits both teams, but since this forum is here:

I'm very weak at RB (dumpster-dove for Tashard Choice out of desperation since my alternative was starting backups) and stacked beyond belief at WR in a 14-team keeper league (2 WRs, 2RBs, 2 WR/RB spots). Got offered a trade, negotiated, and this is what we ended up with.

I traded AJ Green, Torrey Smith and Ben Tate for Mikel LeShoure, Darren Sproles and Stevie Johnson. I still have Bowe, Harvin and Mike Wallace at WR and he still has Arian Foster and LeSean McCoy (who he just picked up last week in a trade that included Aaron Rodgers going the other way).

Any thoughts?

LOL you just gave him the league if everyone stays healthy. This is the football equivalent of one of WSR's baseball trades.

if it's PPR, it's slightly less bad (sproles), but yea.

pretty bad.

i just traded graham for AJ green with pitta and olsen on my bench.

I'm not a fan of the deal. How many keepers do you have? Green is a great keeper option for multiple keeper leagues so I would have been hesitant to get rid of him. Sproles is a big step downward as a replacement for Green since there are huge usage question marks with him. Johnson and Smith are comparable. Johnson is consistent, and Smith is going to have some huge weeks and some poor ones. Leshoure should be a steady back without a large amount of upside, and Tate is a lottery ticket with huge upside if Foster went down. I see those two as pretty comparable as well overall, but obviously your situations would make him want Tate more and you to want Leshoure more.

I would have kept mixing and matching and working the waiver wire, or maybe tried to find a better RB straight up for Green.

Yikes. I don't like it. You should of at least gotten someone in the Michael Turner, Frank Gore, Ryan Mathews category (ie guys that are somewhere in the 10-12 running back rankings) for just Green. If you were willing to give up Green+ another one of your WR and Tate you shouldn't have done a trade for anything less than one of the potential top backs (AP, Murray, Forte, McFadden, McCoy, Rice, Foster, MJD etc.) and just taken some junk back to fill out the rosters.

You must be really desperate for RBs. I am generally not a fan of trading a marquee player for a couple of good players. I think you should have concentrated on getting back an elite RB for Green. I do see your thinking with getting LeShoure before his value might get higher if he has more games like Sunday, but the Lions just don't seem like a team that is going to give him enough carries to be more than an average back. Sproles is good but is never going to be a top tier RB, just a good one that can explode some weeks and be invisible other weeks.

If you were desperate for RBs, its not a horrible trade, but I'd expect more of a return for Green.

Bad trade for you. You gave up the best player (AJ Green) and I think you gave up the 3rd best (Smith). Despite 1 being a starter and the other not, I'd take Tate over LeShoure as well. Tate plays in a run heavy offense and gets plenty of touches despite being #2 to a star. LeShoure will be challenged for carries by 1, if not all of, Kevin Smith, Joique Bell, and Jahvid Best at some point this season.

I already had a one-year keeper contract on Green that will expire after the season.

I was. I'm stuck with Roy Helu on my team because I stupidly put a one-year keeper on him (didn't think in a million years he'd end up 3rd string, and he's on IR now in any case), and league rules stipulate that any player you have a keeper on must remain on your roster. I had Spiller, which was looking great until he got hurt (picked up Tashard Choice yesterday). My other starter is Gore, but that was it as far as guys getting consistent work. What compounded my problem is I'm looking at having to drop someone else to get a QB this week since Stafford may not play and my backup (Roethlisberger) is on bye.

Appreciate the feedback. I didn't realize how high people are on Green. I love the guy, too, and I tried to get him to take Bowe in the deal instead of Green.
