Game 4 - BEARS @ Dallas Cowboys - MNF 7:30 PM

Sweet. Ugh.

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler might officially be the most hated man in the Windy City -- because last night, one of Chicago's most storied sports legends turned his back on the guy ... TORCHING Cutler's jersey inside a bar.

The video was shot inside Stanley's Kitchen and Tap in Downtown Chicago -- showing Chicago Blackhawks legend Chris Chelios lighting Jay's jersey on fire while some hot chick dangles it from her fingers.

One source inside the bar tells us Chris lit the jersey then said, Cutler's "nothing but a bitch."

FYI -- Cutler has been under heavy fire in Chicago from Bears fans who think he's not just a terrible QB ... but a cancer in the locker room who's bringing down the team.

Cutler's performance on Sunday didn't do much to win over his critics -- Jay had a very underwhelming performance in the Bears victory over the Rams ... throwing an interception and ZERO touchdowns.

It's kind of sad that one of Chicago's "most storied sports legends" played more seasons with the Chicago sports team's arch rival and never won a championship in Chicago.

He died when he went to Detroit. I don't care what anyone else says.

Oh, hockey [expletive] sucks, so he's a zilch. The Blackhawks suck again, right? Let's hope that keeps up for a while.

Blackhawk fans don't even like him.

Ahh small sample sizes

QB Jay Cutler's 58.6 passer rating is second worst in the NFL, ahead of only Dolphins rookie Ryan Tannehill's 58.3.

Ryan Grant working out for the Bears today. Matt Forte likely to be out at least through this week

They didn't like Bell I guess?

Or worse, Bush is hurt? Bell ran a lot at the end of the game.

Everything I've read so far points to Forte returning this week, unless something new has surfaced in the last 12 hours or so. I assume the working out of Grant is just because Bell sucks.

But if Forte is coming back, and Bush is health, you still have Allen and Bell...there's no reason for Grant. We're missing some info here.

Probably precautionary in case Forte suffers a setback or otherwise decides not to go. They work him out and see if he's worth picking up if something happens with Forte, and if nothing happens oh well they don't sign him.

Is the Bell sucks sentiment prominent? I've always been impressed by Bell outside of his fumbleitis at the end of last year.

Everything I read hinted he may be back by this week, up until yesterday. The hints have been dropped that Forte will not play this week, and going by the injury it would make sense if he did not play.

More fun with small sample sizes: Bears have 4th best point differential in the league after week 3.

Yeah, I've looked at those, but something tells me we haven't faced the toughest defenses we'll see this season.

I wouldn't have guessed this. Bears are 7-2 on MNF under Lovie.

Let's see how many I can get off the top of my head..

@ Arizona 2006 W

@ Minnesota 2010 W

Minnesota 2009 W

@ Detroit 2011 L

@ Philly 2011 W

Green Bay 2010 W

@ St. L 2006 W

Assuming I'm right on all of those, can't come up with the last two...

2007 is sort of a blur to me and I kind of hated the 08 season because I was the opposite of a Kyle Orton fan.

Forgot about the 08 win against GB in that terrible and extremely cold overtime game.

And a loss on MNF in 07 at Minnesota. That should cover my two misses if the others are right, and I'm pretty sure they are.

Zach Zaidman posted this earlier, and though I hate W-L for QBs.....

@ZachZaidman

Cowboys QB Kyle Orton was 21-12 as a starter with the #Bears. Since 2010, #Bears are 19-9 with Jay Cutler at QB.

I watched the Rams game again, focusing on the Oline..Carimi is every bit as bad as J'Marcus Webb. smh.

I'm going to put my head in the sand and keeping telling myself that was his 5th ever NFL game and he's coming back from a major knee injury.
