Should I bench the Bears D against the Packers? I can pick up the Bills who sucked Week 1 but are supposed to be improved this year. They're playing KC.

Others on the wire.

Seattle vs. Dallas

Dallas @ Seattle

Giants vs. Tampa Bay (I kinda like this one too)

Bengals vs. Cleveland

I like Dallas and Cin more than the Bills. Dallas had extra time to rest and gameplan so I probably like them the most of your options. I dropped the Bills in my league and picked up the Patriots and it's pending on Waivers. If someone else claims them I'll probably go Dallas and if they get claimed Cin is available in mine as well and I'd take them.

Can Alshon Jeffrey repeat last week? PPR league and I'm actually considering playing him bc Thursday could be a shoot out.

Likewise, Bears D or Seahawks D?

I like Jeffrey, but I dunno for a PPR league. Marshall is still gonna get the bulk of the receptions. What are your other alternatives?

Jeffery, Lynch (who I don't trust), Manningham (who gave me 6 last week), and Fred Jackson. ESPN auction drafted 3 QBs and 2 defenses so I have a lot of bench spots that suck.

Pick one:

Stevan Ridley v ARI

Mike Wallace v NYJ

Lance Moore @ CAR

Peyton Hillis @ BUF

Pick one:

Matt Stafford @ SF

Robert Griffin @ STL

Posted

Pettigrew @SF or Tamme @Atl?

M Wallace v.NYJ or L Moore @Car?

Flex spot:

Reggie Bush v. OAK

Ahmad Bradshaw v. TB

C.J. Spiller v. KC (have a waiver claim in on him, find out if I get him tomorrow. Let's assume I get him though)

WR #2 spot:

Malcom Floyd v. TENN

Antonio Brown v. NYJ

I'm leaning towards Bush and Floyd

Answers to everyone's questions.

Bengals D

I'd actually start Peyton this week. 49ers D is really good. Stafford did do decently vs. the Niners last year, but Atlanta just lost their best CB. But you can't go wrong either way.

Don't play Jeffery, play Lynch. Seahawks D over Bears D this week.

Ridley and Stafford

Tamme and Wallace, though Moore wouldn't be a bad start either.

Spiller if you get him, if not Bush. Antonio Brown especially if PPR.

Olsen vs NO

Witten @ Sea

Also, would anybody drop Olsen for Fleener? It seems like a toss up between the two but I think Fleener has more upside.

Posted
I'd lean Witten. I also probably wouldn't bother with Fleener. Odds are pretty good you'll be starting Witten every week within a couple weeks anyway, and Olsen at least has a somewhat known commodity throwing to him. I don't think Fleener's fantasy upside is high enough to be worth that pickup.

Jared Cook @ SD

Jermaine Gresham v Cle

Cook's the more dynamic player, but Gresham has the better matchup. Locker's injury also has me a bit concerned.

Also, in my crappy league:

Luck v Minnesota

Alex Smith v Detroit

Leaning toward Luck, if for no other reason than upside.

Mike Clay @PFF had a good tweet about Cook, that kind of makes me covet him now:

@MikeClayNFL: Titans called a pass play on 48 of Jared Cook's 60 snaps. He pass blocked on ZERO of those plays. So 48 pass routes.

Wow, I knew they targeted him a good amount against New England but had no idea he didn't pass block at all. If Cook could just get consistent, he could be one of the best receiving TEs in the game.
