After Soler's first 10 games at Peoria he's at: .341/.386/.537/.932. That is accompanied by some very nice peripherals - 3 K's and 3 BB's in 44 PA.

Granted it's not even high-A, but that is more contact than I was expecting. When discussing his triple slash/upside, what were some of the predictions on batting avg?

IIRC, people thought he had a pretty good hit tool. I think the expectation was that he would hit for a pretty good average (.270-.290).

That's awesome (and seems like a logical thing for every team to have given it's pretty simple/easy/accesible technology that is needed to install to have the ability to watch all your teams these days) and seems like something every other team (or most teams) probably had installed in their minor league systems/stadiums years ago.

Good news, Daytona played baseball today. Bad news, the Cubs got 1-hit over the last 8 1/3 of the game. To be fair, the Cubs only allowed 3 singles themselves in the final 8 1/3. But Whitenack had already given up 3 runs (2 unearned) by that point. Baez 0-3, with a walk and a K. Villanueva was 0-4 with 2 Ks. Torreyes with a hit and a walk.

Soler with an RBI double in 4ABs for Peoria. 11 RBIs in 11 games for him. Jensen has only allowed an unearned run on 2 hits (0 BBs) and 5 Ks in 7 innings so far.

Lake with 2 walks for Tennessee.

It sounds like they're shutting Jensen down for the season, as he hit 140 IP.

I believe that's the innings limit for pitchers in their first full season in the system.

Didn't realize that. Pretty crazy. He struck out in 11 of his 14 games in Arizona.

Justin Marra is off to a good start. I know he was an overslot from last year's draft. He's 19. How's his defense?

Bad, but potential to be OK, if I remember correctly.
