Sprinkle in Paul LoDuca and Eric Gagne, and you have a damn fine Indy League team.

Dayton and Iowa have switched spots of being the most and least interesting minor league affiliates in a matter of hours

Iowa hasn't been the most interesting since Rizzo got called up.

Just not a good game for Baez, particularly when you factor in the error (curious if anyone is following the game close enough to know if that fielding error was field related or if it was just a bad blunder by Baez).

That said, if he learns from this, then the struggles are a good thing.

Any news on why Francescon was pulled? Injury?

Jensen with a very solid outing.

I truly believe that Baez struggling like this is better for his development than him continuing to not be challenged by Midwest League pitching.

He'll make the necessary adjustments and be fine.

I didn't know if you guys had seen this in Bruce's blog.

On Alcantara

I'm told Alcantara is probably out for the year. Jae-Hoon Ha, though, should be back by next week.

Read on Twitter that Soler was out with an illness. No injury reported.

Damn it, I hope Soler wasn't hanging out with Concepcion.
