Miles thought it was a call up. Doesn't make sense unless he is going to play regularly. So is someone else ready to be dealt?

 

could make cases for any of the 3 starters (soriano, dejesus or lahair)

 

Bench for LaHair, I would guess.

 

or 4th of for him. He could play against righties, filling in for any of the others, and first when Rizzo gets a day off. He could still probably play 4 days a week.

 

Probably a better role for him anyway.
