Only allowing one run on 22 pitches isn't horrible when you consider they had the bases loaded with no outs. Hopefully Shark got that out of his system.

If we're going to pay 90% of Sori's contract, we better get some sort of actual value back in return. He's having a damn solid season.

Ball bounced around in the left field corner and Holliday probably thought Soriano would be content with a double. It amazes me that teams in contention that need a bat, are not more serious about Soriano since the Cubs seem to be willing to pay most of the remainder of his salary.

What purpose does LaHair serve? He has been horrible offensively and his defense is certainly doesn't make up for the lack of offense.

Never even heard of future perenial Cy Young candidate Joe Kelly.

I wouldn't have except that I have picked him up for numerous one-day stints in fantasy solely because of his Cardinals jersey. And it's always turned out well.

We don't really have other viable options. My opinion has changed on him, but we may as well let him finish the year out. He's got no value now, so at least see if he can build it back up a bit. Not that I think he will either. But it's not hurting anything, because he's not blocking anyone of consequence, with Brett not being ready.

16. Joe Kelly, RHP: His hard sinker is an outstanding pitch, but it’s also his only plus offering.
