The more rage that Soriano absorbs, the less BS Castro has to put up with.

At least in theory. When one non-white hated player leaves, another is always elevated to a place of meatball rage to take his place.

Soriano, you jackass.

He was going to be out by a mile regardless.

Either way, it isn't too much to ask that the guy at least try to run it out.

The guy with a knee held together by old chewing gum and string, who you are trying to showcase in the lineup for a trade?

Did that graphic seriously say that Soriano has an OBP of .714 over the last 29 games?

edit: yes it did, lol

You're right, standing in the batter's box looks much better than at least jogging toward the bag.

I'd rather him not blow his crippled knees out trying to "hustle" to satisfy the meatball crowd on a play where he had zero chance of reaching base regardless of the bobble.

Not about how he looks. His knee is one bad plant from popping, and then you have no chance to trade him this year.

Running out ground balls is the *last* thing the Cubs want Soriano to do. If he did it, I'd want Theo to tell Dale to tell Adolpho to stop it.

Obviously he should have known the Boston 3B was playing with a glove made of cobblestone.
